  1. Short: new serial device 2.21

  3. This is newser.device V2.21, the current and final revision of the serial
  4. driver for the PD I/O board. It came to my attention that this version was
  5. not widely disseminated, so here it is. As I am no longer supporting this
  6. project (sorry) you are "on your own" with respect to bugs.
  7. For those wondering what the "PD I/O" project is, it was a relatively
  8. inexpensive way to add (up to) 4 serial ports and 4 parallel ports to a
  9. A500/A2000. It is no longer available in any form, and the serial chips
  10. used are difficult to find. If you are still interested the complete
  11. schematics (etc) may be found on Fish 520.
